Photography has been a passion of mine since I received my first camera in the 4th grade. I grew up in Southeastern Ohio where I took photography in 4-H and High School. I attended and graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Criminology. It was there, where I took another class in photography and further developed my artful eye.
In 1999 I joined the Cincinnati Police Department and in 2005 became a Criminalist. As a Criminalist part of my responsibility was documenting the scene with the camera. Again I received further training and continued to improve my photography in a new direction. My interest in images then led me to discover the world of Forensic Video where I became certified as an analyst.
Working at the Police Department for 18 years has given me a renewed understanding and appreciation of how precious these moments are that we have. I aim to find a new refreshing outlook on life by helping provide families with an image of a moment in time that reminds them to cherish every moment. When you love what you do it is not work, it is fun. I would love to be able to help you create lasting images for you to cherish and share with others. Photographs allow us to share moments in time that hold a piece of our heart with others.
